Growth Manager

Wazi is a digital mental health platform connecting people with therapy services across Kenya. We provide our services over a web application through which we connect directly to clients, and through employer partnerships. 

We are hiring a Growth Manager to expand Wazi’s marketplace product across the country (and eventually outside of Kenya).

Responsibilities

This person will be responsible for all aspects of growth for Wazi including growing our employer partnerships and our direct to consumer approach. Whoever joins will help shape this role and really make it their own. Some responsibilities will include: 

  • Outlining a comprehensive growth strategy and budget in-line with company objectives

  • Sourcing, outreach, and partnership creation with startups and corporations for our B2B employer wellness service

  • Driving direct marketing campaigns for B2C marketplace growth, including social media marketing

  • Identifying events / forums, and strategic growth opportunities, to grow the Wazi brand 

  • Working with the Wazi team to drive the growth of the marketing strategy

About you

We are looking for someone who is passionate about tech's ability to close the gap in mental health service provision across the continent. The person will join our small, kind and scrappy team. We are looking for someone who has most of the following: :

  • A degree in business, marketing, communications (or similar field)

  • 3+ years work experience in a corporation or start-up, ideally in a business development or growth role. Tele-health experience is desirable

  • Experience managing growth for a high-growth company, bonus points if an online marketplace

  • Self-drive and able to thrive in a remote working environment

  • Deep experience with metrics-driven growth, and brings preferred set of tracking tools (Mixpanel, Google Analytics, etc.)

  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English

  • Strong organizational abilities

  • An exceptional ability to build and maintain relationships

  • Excitement to upskill and learn new things on the job

  • Desire to work in a team which focuses on knowledge sharing, learning and mentoring
